Children's Ministry
The children’s ministry, like all other ministries, seeks to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ and the church: “Inviting people to Christ, Growing People in Christ.”
Something for Every Age
The Children’s Ministry is an exciting part of Springville First United Methodist Church. We have a nursery, preschool, first through third grade, and fourth through sixth grade ministries. Each of these age divisions has their own Sunday School class. The fourth through sixth grade meet in the Christian Life Center. The other classes meet in the Kid’s Cove located on the second floor in the Education Building.
Special Activities
We have annual vacation Bible schools, Easter Egg hunts, and special Christmas programs for the children. The church offers many activities and ministries for kids throughout the year. They have special game nights at the Christian Life Center, they go bowling, and do various other activities. The summer is especially active at the church for these active ones.
His Kids
Kids are natural worshippers! They love to praise God and often have a great depth of faith and expression. His Kids is a time for kids to experience God and worship Him in their own way. Led by Tricia Green, it was held on Tuesday’s in the fall.
