Holy Trinity
God is the creator of the universe, the seen and the unseen. He rules and cares for His children. He eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and one, each possessing the attributes of God.
Christ died for our sin
We believe that we all have a sin problem and that God sent His sinless Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to demonstrate His love for us. Jesus voluntarily gave His life up on the cross and took the punishment for our sin that we deserved. He died, but three days later he rose from the dead, demonstrating His power over sin and death. He ascended into heaven and will one day return and hold everyone accountable for how they lived their lives.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is present in the world to make us aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He draws us to Christ for salvation, and He lives in everyone who seeks to follow Jesus Christ. God’s Spirit guides, directs, convicts, and equips followers of Jesus in growth and service.
God-breathed inspiration of the Bible
We believe God supernaturally directed human authors, through the Holy Spirit, to write a book called the Bible. It reveals to us how we are to live. God, as He reveals Himself through the Bible, is the source of truth and the final authority on how to live.
Salvation is a gift to all
We believe salvation is a gift from God to all people. Men and women can never make up for their sin by self-improvement or good works. Only through trusting in Jesus Christ can a person respond to God's offer of forgiveness, and be spared from the punishment of sin.
People matter
We believe people matter to Jesus Christ. Christ’s love compels us to extend to all the love of Christ. Though, we are not perfect, we seek to model through our lives, and communicate through our words, the love of Christ. We do not force, or intimidate. We believe that seeking to live like Jesus Christ is so winsome, others will want to experience this relationship with God as well.
Worship
We believe God made us to express our love to Him through worship. Public worship is our response to God.
Small Groups
We believe small group fellowship and teaching are vital to growing and maturing in the faith.
